Terms & Conditions
1. General Terms (applicable to all bookings)
By booking and/or making payment for any Ergonix service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
Booking and payment
- A booking is confirmed when payment is received. An invoice issued by Ergonix constitutes an offer to supply services, and payment of that invoice constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
- Where payment is made by invoice, fees are payable on receipt unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Course fees are payable in full in advance of the training date.
- Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Cancellation by Ergonix
- In rare circumstances, Ergonix may need to reschedule or cancel a course or workshop due to unforeseen circumstances.
- In such cases, clients/delegates will be offered an alternative date.
2. Cancellations, Postponements and Expenses (all bookings)
Cancellations
- All bookings are subject to these Terms and Conditions upon confirmation.
- Cancellations must be made in writing.
- Cancellations received within 14 days of the course or workshop date will be charged in full.
- Cancellations received more than 14 days before the scheduled date are not transferable as of right. Any transfer is at the discretion of Ergonix and subject to availability.
Postponement
- Postponement within 14 days of the course date is not permitted and will be treated as a cancellation.
- One postponement per booking may be permitted where notice is given more than 14 days in advance and is subject to availability.
- Postponements are not guaranteed and are offered at Ergonix’s discretion.
Expenses
- Any travel, accommodation, or third-party booking expenses incurred in relation to a booking are chargeable in full.
- Expenses incurred are non-refundable at any time.
3. Individual DSE Training (open courses)
This section applies to individuals booking onto DSE Assessor or similar certificated training courses.
Attendance and certification
- Full attendance is required to meet course requirements and receive certification.
- Certification will not be issued if a delegate is absent for any part of the course, including late arrival, early departure, or extended breaks.
- Any missed content will require additional training at additional cost.
Cancellations and postponements
- All cancellations and postponements are subject to Section 2. Full attendance is required to meet certification requirements.
4. Group DSE Training (organised or private group bookings)
This section applies where organisations book multiple delegates for DSE training (on-site or virtual).
Booking
- Bookings are confirmed for the number of delegates agreed at the time of booking.
- Fees are based on the confirmed number of delegates and are not adjusted for non-attendance or partial attendance.
- Where training is delivered on-site, additional charges may apply for reasonable travel and associated expenses.
- All expenses incurred in connection with delivery are chargeable and are non-refundable.
Attendance
- Full attendance is required for certification for each delegate.
- Certification will not be issued where a delegate does not complete the full course.
Cancellations and postponement
- Cancellations and postponements are subject to the General Cancellation Terms set out in Section 2.
- Reductions in delegate numbers after booking confirmation are non-refundable.
- Substitutions of delegates are permitted where notified in advance.
- Non-attendance or partial attendance does not reduce fees payable.
5. Workshops (Group Training)
This section applies to all workshops delivered to organisations.
Booking basis
- Workshops are charged based on the agreed booking and session delivery, not individual attendance.
- Fees are based on the confirmed booking and are not adjusted for attendance variations.
Cancellations and postponements
- Cancellations and postponements are subject to the General Cancellation Terms set out in Section 2.
- Reductions in delegate numbers after booking confirmation are non-refundable.
- Non-attendance of individual delegates does not reduce fees payable.
Substitutions
- Delegate substitutions are permitted and should be communicated in advance where possible.
Delivery
- Workshops are delivered for the agreed duration and schedule.
- Attendee interruptions must be kept to a minimum to ensure delivery is not disrupted.
6. Acceptance of Terms
By completing a booking or payment, you confirm acceptance of these Terms & Conditions and agree to comply with them.
